8. 2012 Intercontinental Judges Course: Part I
During WTC meeting it was agreed that training videos and evaluation of exercises will be
published as on last cycle.
a. Preparation of theoretical exams:
Theory exam will consist of 50 questions as follows:
7 General Part
7 Vault
12 Uneven Bars
12 Balance Beam
12 Floor Exercise
For UB, BB and FX, from the 12 questions 6 will be "pure" (questions about DV, connections,
deductions and generalities) and 6 will be written "exercises"
b. Evaluation of Judges at Intercontinental Course:
It was discussed the necessity to evaluate judges, separating results on D-Scores, E-Scores,
etc.
c. Translation to FRE, ESP and RUS:
Until now we do not know who will make the translations for CoP, exams and during
intercontinental judges course.
9. Miscellaneous
WTC had the opportunity to meet with FIG Secretary General, Mr. André Gueisbuhler and the
following points were discussed:
- Revision of Doug Hills' software
- Electronic version of WAG COP
- Judges selection for OG'12
- Composition of the future FIG Disciplinary Commission
- World Cup series
Next meeting in Bucharest:
Arrival date on June 10th, meeting on June 11-13/6, departure on June 14
th
