On behalf of FIG MSA attended the annual Forum Peace & Sport. A written agreement between
this organisation and FIG is being prepared.
As a first joint event a Foundation of Gymnastics course will be held in the second half of 2011 in
Columbia. In cooperation with the Columbia Gymnastics Federation the Foundation of Gymnastics
Course will prepare local youth leaders and gymnastic coaches to work with children and youth
with gymnastics as one of the tools for leisure time activities.
ˇ FIG Colloquium, Lisbon, POR 9-12 December 2010
The colloquium in Lisbon, POR 9-12 December 2010 "Contest and Competition within Gymnastics
for All" gathered 37 participants representing 27 Federations. All continents were represented. We
had very interesting presentations from 7 Federations and the participants also got the possibility
to discuss our proposal of the Regulation for World Gym for Life Challenge. Interesting was also
the presentation made by Lukas Kolb on Skype via Internet. He described the evaluation system
we used in Dornbirn 2009.
The colloquium was very well organised by the Portuguese Federation and even if we had big
problems with the weather (4 participants never arrived) it was a successful event.
