National Stands
The Committee take good note of the OC proposal regarding the confirmed number of stands and
its layout.
IOC Museum exhibition
Regarding the World Gymnaestrada exhibition to be presented at the IOC Olympic Museum MSA
informs the Committee about the preparation work.
A first draft of the exhibition panels is showed. All World Gymnaestrada editions will be shown in
three panels. One panel will have logos and numbers and the other two panels will have photos.
We will also have two wide screens where photos and films from the different events will be shown.
Reception
It is confirmed to organise one FIG reception on 15
th
July (Friday) between the two FIG Gala
shows.
Media
Philippe Silacci presents a report regarding the media preparation work. So far there are 45
journalists accredited and they are divided in two main areas. One area is Television and Internet
and the other area is Press and Photo.
Olivier Strebel presents a report regarding the television area.
The Opening Ceremony, FIG Gala,Swiss National Evening and Closing Ceremony will be
transmitted for Switzerland and broadcasted for the television channels around the world that have
bought the FIG events rights. A daily activities resume will be also available.
ˇ World Gymnaestrada 2015
The official agreement is under discussion. The official logo has been sent by the OC to the FIG
and is waiting for approval.
ˇ World Gym for Life Challenge
Planning, time schedule
The Newsletter has to be produced and released as soon as possible.
During the World Gymnaestrada 2011 the World Gym for Life Challenge has to be very well
promoted.
The letter to invite the National Federations to bid for the 2017 edition of the World Gym for Life is
being prepared. The decision will be taken by the FIG Council meeting of 2012.

A Foundation course is being prepared for Colombia.
The Hosting Guidelines and Course Manual needs to be translated into Spanish.
MS is developing contacts with the National Federation in the Balkans region in order to evaluate
the local interest in organising a Foundation course.
ˇ Colloquium, Cape Town RSA 23-26 November 2011
The committee discuss the final text for the invitation to the Colloquium to be held in Cape Town
(RSA) 23-26 November 2011. The theme is "The World Gymnaestrada in the future and the World
Gym for Life Challenge 2013".
The invitation will be sent as soon as possible.
