· Foundation Course, Durban, RSA 11-17 December 2010
MS presents a report concerning the Foundation Course held in South Africa. MS was the FIG
responsible person for the course and the other experts were Petrina Hutchinson (AUS), Sipho
Maseko (RSA) and Shirley Tsatsinyane (RSA),
26 coaches from South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland attended the course.
The facilities were very good and the local organization was also very good.
· Joint meeting World Gymnaestrada 2011, Lausanne 20-23 January 2011
The Committee analyses the joint meeting with the World Gymnaestrada 2011 Organising
Committee held 20-23 January. All areas are discussed thoroughly and the last preparation is now
being done.

MSA presets a report regarding the major issues of the EC meeting and all the preparation for the
Council meeting.

· Slovakia 2011
A course in Innovation in Choreography was held in Bratislava from 4

to 6

March 2011.
The invited presenter was João Martins from Portugal.
26 coaches mainly from Slovakia but also from Check Republic attended the course.
· Portugal Gym For Life 2011
A national edition of the Gym for Life Challenge was organised by the Portuguese Federation.
36 groups with 956 participants attended this event.
5. Events
· World Gymnaestrada 2011
The committee welcomes Gaël Lasserre from the WG2011 OC who gives us an update of the
present situation.
The following are discussed in detail:
· Possibility of more FIG Member Federations to attend the event
· Accreditation process and cards
· The FIG office in Beaulieu during the event
· Ticket sales
FIG authorities, guests and staff
Some members of the FIG Council, Executive Committee, Disciplinary Commission and Honorary
members have already confirmed their attendance during the World Gymnaestrada 2011.
More FIG authorities are expected to confirm their presence.
FIG 130 years anniversary
During the World Gymnaestrada in Lausanne the 130 year anniversary will be highlighted. There is
a short film that will be shown before every evening performance. On the day of the Closing
Ceremony of the World Gymnaestrada 2011 a boat trip in the Lake Leman will be organised for
invited guests.
Registration
RV presents a report. Until now the online registration procedures are running without any
problems. No special remarks or questions have been presented by the National Federations.
