6. 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, JPN
Draw and organization:
Nellie Kim was present in Tokyo the day before the WTC Meeting in Seoul for the World
Championships' draw, which was very well prepared.
Comments on the Organization:
ˇ Confirmed that every WTC members received the Directives for this event.
ˇ The Competition venue is good, similar to the one in Rotterdam'10.
ˇ The judges' instructions for WAG and MAG will be held in the same meeting room.
ˇ The Accommodation for the WTC is good; the hotel is placed in the center of the City.
Reference Judges:
The WTC support the idea of having neutral R-Judges for CIII. If not possible, while one neutral R-
Judge can be assigned for CIII, another R-judge will be assigned to judge twice.
Judges Panels:
Nastia Liukin proposed that on CIV and CIII Federations with qualified gymnasts/Teams be entitled
to have a judge in the panels.
Artistry:
Judges on BB and FX will use a modified symbol recording sheet that includes a section for
"Artistry" and "Throughout the exercise" deductions.
Also, judges must fill in a sheet for "Artistry" that will be submitted with the sheet for "Execution".
The sheet will already include the starting order to save time. This should be done right after the
confirmation of the starting order (not later than 24 hours before C-I).
Judges' instruction:
In Tokyo, the evaluation of the videos of exercises on each apparatus for the judges' instruction will
be confirmed by the WTC together with a short PPT.
IRCOS:
This system will only will be used in case of inquiries.
