1. Opening/President's Report
a. November Meeting: 14-21 St. Petersburg, Russia
b. Review of the Symposium, Montpelier meeting (below)

3. Minutes approved: January 2011 (Lausanne)
4. Report from Symposium April 2011 (Zurich)
a. Participation: 29 countries. The TC appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with
the delegates from many countries
b. Accepted direction for new COP proposed by the TC:
Simplified and comprehensible for: judges, coaches, spectators and media (elimination of
D2)
Scientific base exists to complement academy program and education: 3 element groups
leaps and jumps, balances, rotations
A separate artistic score will not exist but it will be combined with the execution score and be
calculated out of 10; A new weighting within the total score to decrease subjectivity will be
introduced
Requirements for each apparatus will be developed to make it different from the others and
avoid repetition and monotony
Concentration on apparatus requirements and not only the body elements as difficulty will be
carried out
The difficulty judging panels will be reorganized and their responsibility clarified including the
use of forms
Mastery of the apparatus work will be clearly outlined
