TA presents a short report regarding the 1

Korea Gymnaestrada held last October with 300
participants. The committee is happy for the development of Gymnastics for All in Korea and it is
very positive that this event now will be organised every year.

Golden Age Gym Festival, October 2010
RV presents a short report regarding the UEG event 2
nd
Golden Age Gym Festival held October, 3-
8 in Portimão (POR). The event was a success and all participants had the opportunity to
experience different workshops, to present their gymnastic shows and also some touristic and
cultural programs.
The target group for this event is 50+ and there were 1.400 participants from 21 different
Federations.
5. Events
· World Gymnaestrada 2011
Preparation for the coming joint meeting, Lausanne January 2011:
The Committee identifies and prepare the different subjects to be discussed with the local
organising Committee of the WG2011during the next joint meeting from 20 to 23 of January, 2011.
Registration
RV presents a report. Until now all registration procedures are running without any problems. No
special remarks or questions have been presented by the Federations.
Schedule
It is foreseen to establish a connection between the HoD meeting Sunday July 10 at 10:00h with
the official opening of the World Gymnaestrada exhibition held at the IOC museum. All other HoD
meeting will be in the World Gymnaestrada area.
Opening/Closing
RS presents a report regarding all preparation work and informed that the Closing Ceremony will
have a new concept concerning the mixing of speeches and performances in order to increase the
overall show interest.
Performance, Venues and Apparatus
Nothing to report
National Evenings
RV presents a report concerning the National Evenings preparation.
All major technical details are being deal by the Federations and the OC.
There are still some issues with one of the planned National Evening and RV will contact the two
involved Federations to find solutions.
FIG Gala
FK presents a report regarding the preparation work carried out by the FIG Gala working group.
The selected group from LIE as informed that will not take part in the World Gymnaestrada 2011.
Educational Forum
MS presents a report regarding the Educational Forum preparation work. The Committee is very
pleased with the high interest from Federations to bring presentations to the Forum.
Expert group
The Committee discuss the different available experts that can be part of the 14
th
World
Gymnaestrada Evaluation Expert group. An official invitation letter will be sent soon.
