World Cup Rules
The MTC President explained that having 5 E-judges (average of 3 scores counting) in the panels
offers consistency with the gymnasts' results at all FIG competitions including World
Championships and Olympic Games (average of 3 scores).
A proposal will be made by the MTC and WTC to change the name of "Challenger Cup" to "World
Cup Cat. B". Rationale: This will allow Federations to obtain greater support from their
government, Olympic Committee, and sponsors. These other organizations have a high
perception of the term "World Cup." Both TC's unanimously agreed to this proposal.
