Group 2 (Marie, USA)
- Artistry: repetition of elements. Proposal: deduction by DJ before the start of the
competition.
- TOD and COP translated into more languages.
- Agree with Group 1 issues regarding tumbling elements: Cat 1 land on 1 foot, Cat 2 ­ 2
feet,
- Request no changes to the CoP or ToD during the cycle.
Group 3 (Matei, GBR)
- TOD new model reduce the size of the document.
- Have three age groups to promote an easier transition in terms of difficulty and make it
easier to reach senior level;
- More objective deductions from the Artistic Judges.
- Reduce mass & mat height penalties for age group and use academic research to support
this.
- Proposal: Increase value of work of tops in pairs (too low in comparison to trios.)
- Reduce value of most common base positions in women's groups.
Issues related to the Age group Programme:
Group 1:
- 11-16 Proposal: 3 exercises: Balance, Dynamic and Combined final.
- Reduce the gap between 11 ­ 16 and 12 ­ 19 and 12 ­ 19 and Senior. Need third age group.
Group 2
- 11-16 exercises too long.
- 11-16 and 12-19 size deductions are too big.
