WTC suggestions for the future to the Problems related with the Draw/ Competition
:
· To ticket the first session of each day of qualification as two subdivisions, allowing the
removal of the first subdivision of the day in case of a decrease in the number of teams
or individuals
· To allocate subdivisions for mixed groups only
· If a team reduces its numbers to individuals only, the "team" to then move into the mixed
group subdivisions
· To allocate "subdivisions" at the time of the official Draw and "apparatus" at the
Orientation Meeting as this will allow movement between subdivisions.
9. CONCLUSION AND THANKS
Facilities, Organization, and Competition Management
The Ahoy Rotterdam facilities were more than adequate with ample meeting room space for all
the participating judges and the WTC. The meeting room for the WTC was well equipped. The
total Ahoy Rotterdam competition organization led by the President of the local OC, Geert Jan
Sikkens, was excellent
.
It was a pleasure to work with Mrs. Anneke Hoeijenbos, WAG Competition manager and with
Mrs. Ingrit Spoelman, WTC attachée, who both led the arrangements and transports for the
WTC
and the Judge's hospitality very well. They did an amazing and outstanding job. Their
conscientious and meticulous assistance to look after the needs of the WTC and D- Panels
during the days of the Technical Analysis was most helpful to the project.
Mr. Jos Geukers KNGU President, Mr. Geert Jan Sikkens President of the Local OC and
the entire team is to be warmly thanked for their untiring, strong cooperative work, which
resulted in a most successful staging of this magnificent event 2010 World Championships.
The staff and volunteers fulfilled their responsibilities in a competent and friendly manner. All
competition phases were carried-out without any major incidents and the timing was
respected.
Once again, the WTC members put uncountable efforts into the teamwork and I would like to
thank them. The Members of the FIG Authorities and the staff also contributed through their
support and work to the success of these World Championships.
