When there was a large difference between the two Reference scores
o
The Rope finals were evaluated. The TC Difficulty scores in 4 of 8 routines were
lower than the judges' scores (still within the 0.8 tolerance), but these differences
did not change the medals, and this 0.8 tolerance prevented 4 meetings, which
would have interrupted the broadcast of the Finas. In most cases the problems
were related to the apparatus Mastery during the body difficulty, which is not clearly
identified by the judges. These elements will be simplified and clarified for the new
Code of Points.
o
The TC analyzed the instances of incorrect judgment during the meeting in Tokyo
and confirmed these errors. The Reference Judge had six additional errors upon
review in Tokyo.

o
Athlete Representative, Vera Sesina, organized an open meeting with the
participating athletes and 19 countries participated. The TC is very grateful for their
excellent recommendations, and even further pleased because the athletes' ideas
confirm those of the TC for the next Code of Points and for Junior World
Championships. The TC will use the athletes' input during the meetings in January.
o
There were 12 training carpets in the competition hall which was very comfortable to
have everything in one location.
o
The OC honored the 30th anniversary of the rhythmic World Championships with a
very spectacular Opening Ceremony, Gala, video presentation, and a photo
exhibition of the sport's history.
