Development of AEROBIC over all the continents
· Asia TY & WH
· Northern Europe SL
In order to contribute to the development of Aerobic Gymnastics in Northern Europe, UEG
AER TC President Cristina Casentini suggests we should invite some member federations
to take part in the next UEG training camp with 1 coach and 1 gymnast.
· South American: SG due to meet very soon with PAGU President and to tell her about
his project of development of AEROBIC gymnastics in collaboration with PAGU TC and to
stage a training camp during next summer.
PAGU Presidente Zobeira Hernández should organise a Level 2 FIG Academy this year.
· Africa MG
MG presents the development project for Aerobic Gymnastics in Africa.
Zone 1 (North): unfortunately, the coaches' course planned to take place end of 2010 in
Tunisia could not take place and should probably take place this year.
Zone 2, (West & Centre)
·
6 13 December 2010, Dakar (SEN): coaches' clinic with Cristina Casentini and
Emmanuele Pagliuca (ITA) as experts.
17 coaches (Senegal, Guinea Conakry and Congo) have been introduced to Aerobic
Gymnastics.
Very rich experience for both experts.
Very friendly and enthusiastic working atmosphere.
All my gratitude to Senegal Gymnastics Federation President Albertine Goncalves who
organised this 1
st
coaches' clinic within the frame of the development project of Aerobic
Gymnastics in Africa and for her support and collaboration.
·
4 13 February, Brazzaville (CNG): clinic organised within the frame of the relations
between the French Sports Ministry and Congo: 20 coaches and 25 gymnasts.
Goals:
- Presentation of the discipline to the authorities and official bodies
- Communication with medias (TV)
- «Popular» animation, 600 people
- Training of coaches to animation and initiation of the discipline
- Initial training of young gymnasts
- Preparation of a team for the Universiades
- Support to organise gymnastics in Congo (Aerobic, floor gymnastics)
This was as very enriching stay which made it possible to put in place the basis for
development of gymnastics in Congo. In view of the interest showed by the various groups
we met towards the trainings proposed we are convinced that our mission is in line with an
International Federation task as described in the Olympic Charter.
Un projet au Sénégal et au Cap Vert est également ŕ l'étude pour 2011
