namely; AUS, CRO, IRL, MEX, PUR, SWE,TUR, URU
The insufficient number of judge's positions assigned for the ART gymnastics, allowed for
only two Judge's Panels for the evaluation of the exercises in C-I and C-II.
Categories of the 14 judges (including the D - Panel judges)
1 Category I
7 Category II
6 Category III
Judges' Review Session and Assessment of the Judging
Both Judges' Review Session and the Judges' Draw were well prepared and carried-out
professionally and efficiently.
The mini-course organized prior to the competition was very useful in clarifying all concerns,
especially in the recognition of elements. It was well received by the young judges.
D- Panel: the insufficient experience of the young judges led to the slow evaluation of the D scores
(in the 1
st
subdivision in particular).
There were few mistakes in the calculation of the D scores, but those were corrected immediately
by the AS in charge. Generally speaking
the judges correctly applied the same criteria to evaluate
the performances of all gymnasts.
E- Panel: Overall, the judges showed good knowledge and great objectivity.
Inquiry: No inquiry was logged during the competitions.
