Apparatus: The apparatus supplied by Gymnova fully met the specifications and were safely
installed and well maintained throughout the competition. The WTC would like to express their
gratitude to the Gymnova technical team for their constant availability and help.
Unfortunately, due to the absence of the "short" version of the Safety collar mat, 4 gymnasts
placed their feet on the springboard and partly on the Safety collar mat when they performed
Yurchenko Vault.
On behalf of the WTC, I would like to thank Mr. Matthew Greenwood, Gymnastics manager
(LOCOG), and Ben Murphy, Artistic Gymnastics Manager for their untiring, strong, cooperative
work.
Again, it was a pleasure to work with Lyn Fairbrother and Hardy Brendene, the WTC technical
Attaches, who led all arrangements and transports for the WTC and the Judge's hospitality.
Our gratitude is conveyed to Mr. Nicolas Buompane, Ms. Sylvie Martinet and Mr. Rui Vinagre for
their assistance, confidence and support.
XI. CONCLUSION:
In this report, I would like to thank FIG President Bruno Grandi. It was an honor and pleasure to
work under his leadership.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Executive Committee and the Council members for
their continuous support.
My gratitude is also conveyed to the FIG Office, especially to André Gueisbuhler, Zina Terrier,
Céline Cachemaille, Sylvie Martinet and Rui Vinagre for their assistance, confidence and support.
I warmly thank the Men's Technical Committee President Adrian Stoica and his colleagues for their
conscientious cooperation during our competitions and meetings and for their productive
discussions over the past cycle.
The WTC is to be complimented for their admirable leadership of Women's Artistic Gymnastics
during the past 4 year cycle.
Respectfully submitted,
Nellie KIM, WTC President
