10. Code of points
From 2011 on, the COP and all the videos regarding difficulty elements are combined with
the COP to become an interactive COP which can be found on the FIG web site (AEROBIC
page) and is available to everyone. Many thanks to Gérald Bidault for this wonderful work.
The COP has been simplified as it was requested by the FIG EC but the general principles of
the Code of Points remain unchanged
All categories: length of exercise 1'30" ± 5" and 10 difficulty elements, two lifts,
competition space 10 m X 10 m for Senior
Artistic will be evaluated according to 5 items instead of 10.
Execution simplified with accompanying illustrated tables of deductions.
Difficulty: Minimum requirements have been reviewed and simplified, some Difficulty
values readjusted, new elements, co-efficient for Trios and Groups readjusted
Reduction to 5 competitors in GR category.
Review of the Prohibited moves and deductions
Review of the World Age Group Programme.
Review of Aero Dance & Aero Step rules.
11. Scientific researches
A booklet collecting the abstracts of all scientific researches all over the world has been
prepared by Maria Mineva : 82 abstracts from 16 nations, 127 authors

This information should be available on the FIG website before the end of the year.
Many thanks to all the authors who contribute to the development of the discipline and to Maria
Mineva for having achieved this work.
12. Gymnasiade
After Universiade, for the first time, Aerobic Gymnastics will be as a demonstration sport in the
next Gymnasiade, Brasilia (BRA) in December 2013.
This quadrennial international multi-sport event, organised by ISF, the International School
Federation, will be for all categories (IM, IW, MP, TR and GR) for AG2 competitors (15-17
years old).
This information was announced during « the Round Table » in Sofia and was well welcomed
by all participants as a new and exciting event for the young generation.
